# Terminate a card

`DELETE /cards/{card_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://b2b.revolut.com/api/1.0`
- URL: `https://b2b.revolut.com/api/1.0/cards/{card_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Terminate a specific card, based on its ID.

Once the card is terminated, its state changes to `terminated`.
Terminated cards are not returned when listing cards, but you can still retrieve a terminated card by its ID using the [`GET /cards/{card_id}` endpoint](https://developer.revolut.com/docs/api/business#get-card).

A successful response does not get any content in return.

- `card_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

Card successfully terminated

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request Returned, for example, when you provide an invalid card ID in the path.
- `404`: Card doesn't exist
- `default`: Unexpected error
