# Update a user style (RD Pro template fields only)

`PATCH /styles/{style_id}`

## Request

Updates a user-owned style created via /styles. Accepts only RD Pro editable fields. `style_id` can be either internal `id` or `prompt_style`.

- ExternalRDProStyleUpdate: Public API schema for updating styles created from the RD Pro user template. All fields are optional and limited to RD Pro editable fields.
