# Split

`POST /lowpoly/assets/{asset_id}/split`

Break a model into separate models (a desk scene into the desk, a candle, each book, ...). Each piece
is a new model and history item, turned to face the front, with its own atlas, rig and animations.
The prompt (optional) says how to split. The task result lists the pieces.

## Request body

- LowPolySplitInput
  - `prompt` string: How to split, up to 250 characters (optional). Without one, every separate object that makes sense becomes its own model.
  - `version` integer: Version to split (default: the newest).
  - `objects` string[]: Scenes only: the placed object ids to make into separate models (default: all of them). Free for scenes.
  - `custom_id` string
