# Animate

`POST /lowpoly/assets/{asset_id}/animate`

## Request

Add an animation to a version. The first animation rigs the model (free).

## Request body

- LowPolyAnimateInput
  - `prompt` string, required: The motion to add (or the change to make), up to 250 characters.
  - `version` integer: Version to animate (default: the newest).
  - `animation` string: Name of an existing animation on that version to change instead of adding a new one. It keeps its name; the prompt describes what should change.
  - `mode` 'auto' | 'quality' | 'fast': auto (default): chosen per request - quality, or fast for simple requests. Same price. Lite styles ignore it (their model always runs at one setting).
  - `tiles` string[]: Scenes only: the tile ids to animate (up to 40). Priced per tile and object.
  - `objects` string[]: Scenes only: the placed object ids to animate (up to 20).
  - `custom_id` string
