# Change the code or name of one of the company's facility-process mappings

`PATCH /api/constants-mapping/facility-processes/{id}`

## Request

Sets the mapping's `externalId` and, when given, its `externalName` (`null` or `''` clears it). Answers 404 `constant_mapping_not_found` when the company has no such facility-process mapping, 409 `constant_mapping_already_exists` when another of its facility-process mappings already uses the code, and 409 `constant_mapping_code_is_retraced_id` when the code is itself a Retraced facility-process ID. `data` is the updated mapping.
