# POST /api/company-documents/{id}/cancel-request

`POST /api/company-documents/{id}/cancel-request`

Withdraw the calling company's pending request for access to a document. A document the caller cannot see answers 404. The document's owner and its recipient company, and a request that was already approved, answer 409 — an approved share is never removed here. With no request on file the call succeeds and changes nothing.
