# Verify a certificate's license number with its provider

`POST /api/claims/{id}/verify-license-number`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.retraced.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Asks the certificate's standard provider (OEKO-TEX) to confirm its license or document number, and records which one matched in `verifiedByField`. A certificate missing either number is left as it is. The certificate must be one `GET /api/claims/:id` answers for the caller: otherwise 404 `claim_not_found`, or 403 for another company's TRANSACTION certificate. A provider that cannot be reached, or a standard no provider verifies, answers 503 `unable_to_verify_license_number`. `data` is the certificate, as `GET /api/claims/:id` answers it.
