# Move a certificate back to draft

`PUT /api/claims/{id}/to-draft`

## Request

Moves a certificate of the caller's own company back to DRAFT, from whatever state it is in; one already DRAFT is returned as it is. `data` is the certificate. 404 `claim_not_found` if the caller cannot see it, 409 `claim_move_back_to_draft_not_allowed` if another company in the network owns it, 409 `already_draft_or_active_certificate_document_number` if another live certificate of the company for the same standard holds its document number. Migrated from the legacy `PUT /v3/claims/:id/to-draft`.
