# Create a standard

`POST /api/admin/standards`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.retraced.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Creates a catalogue standard from `name`, `description` and `type` (all required) and an optional `logoFileId` and `providerName` (left out or `null` stores none; `""` is refused, as in legacy). The five certification types are stored in `certifications`, `BADGE` and `PAYMENT` in `standards`. An unknown `logoFileId` stores no logo, as in legacy; a newly uploaded one is moved to the public bucket. Responds 201 with the standard in the `{ data, metadata }` envelope (legacy answered the bare record); `translations` always carries `en`, built from the name and description.
