# Edit a fiber setting

`PATCH /api/admin/fiber/settings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.retraced.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Replaces the `value` (a list of facility-process keys; `[]` empties it) of the platform-wide fiber setting named by `key` in the body — there is no `/settings/:key`. Other body keys are refused, as in legacy. Responds with the stored setting, `value` parsed, in the `{ data, metadata }` envelope (legacy answered the bare record). 404 `not_found` for an unknown key.
