# Create a fiber production process

`POST /api/admin/fiber/production-processes`

Creates a global production-process template owned by the caller's company from `name`, `productCategoryId`, `facilityProcessId` and `facilityWastageFactorPercentage` (all required; 0 to 99.99 — legacy answered 500 above the column's 99.99) and an optional `featuredImageFileId`. The wastage band is copied from the production factor of the category and facility process, falling back to the category's parent: no factor answers 400 `missing_production_factor`, a factor without both bounds 400 `missing_wastage_factor_range`, and a wastage below the minimum 409 `invalid_wastage_factor`; the maximum is not checked, as in legacy. An unknown `featuredImageFileId` stores no image; a found one is moved to the public bucket. Responds 201 with the process in the `{ data, metadata }` envelope (legacy answered the bare record, with the full category as `productCategoryType`).
