Edits a data field's `title`, `description` and/or `entity` (only the keys sent are written; null or an empty string clears `title`/`description`), stamped with the caller, and answers the field as stored. An empty body changes nothing. 404 `not_found` for an unknown id; 400 for an empty or null `entity`, which legacy answered with a 500. Answers `{ data: { id, title, entity, description }, metadata }`; legacy answered the whole row as it was before the edit, merged with the body.
