# Delete Step

`DELETE /api/sequences/{sequence_id}/steps/{step_id}`

Delete a step and re-number remaining steps sequentially.
Cannot delete steps on sequences with active enrollments.

- `sequence_id` string, uuid, required
- `step_id` string, required
