# POST /v2/take-over-live-call/{call_id}

`POST /v2/take-over-live-call/{call_id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Take over an in-progress call from the AI agent. The agent stops responding and the specified live-listen participant is allowed to speak directly to the caller. The call must be in ONGOING status. Calls cannot be taken over while a PCI session is active.

- `call_id` string, required

## Request body

  - `participant_id` string, required: The id of the live-listen participant to upgrade, obtained when joining via /v2/listen-live-call.

## Response `200`

Call taken over successfully.

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Not Found
- `409`: Conflict
- `500`: Internal Server Error
