# Chat Agent Async

`POST /chat/async`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://backend.ressl.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://backend.ressl.ai/chat/async`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Async chat endpoint for Salesforce Managed Package.

Starts the agent in the background and returns a job_id immediately.
The client polls GET /chat/async/{job_id} to check for the result.

Accepts the same form parameters as POST /chat:
  - query (required)
  - connection_id (required)
  - conversation_id (optional)

Returns: {"job_id": "...", "conversation_id": "...", "status": "processing"}

## Query parameters

- `organization_id` string, nullable: Organization ID

## Headers

- `X-API-Key` string, nullable
