# Deploy a prompt version

`POST /api/prompts/{prompt_id}/deployments/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.respan.ai`

  - HTTP bearer

Deploy a committed version as the live version for this prompt.

## Path parameters

- `prompt_id` string, required

## Request body

Version deployed successfully.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation failed, or the version is a draft. Commit it first.
- `403`: The API key is missing, invalid or expired.
- `404`: The prompt or version doesn't exist, or the prompt has no committed version.
