# Test tracker

`POST /trackers/test/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2`
- URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2/trackers/test/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Test tracker. Establishes connection to all tracker addresses. TLS is used if fingerprint is present in the tracker configuration and fingerprint is matched with observed certificate provided by tracker. Results in success if at least one of the tracker addresses is reachable. See /trackers/test for the response details.

## Path parameters

- `id` number, required: Tracker id

## Response `200`

Successful response

- object
  - `results` object: Array of objects with connection results
  - `results.success` boolean: Connection success flag
  - `results.location` string: Tracker address to which connection was successfully established
  - `results.is_tls` boolean: Flag indicating if TLS (instead of TCP) was used for the connection
  - `results.observed_certificate_fingerprint` string: Actual TLS certificate fingerprint presented by the tracker
  - `results.code` string: Error code if connection failed
  - `results.error` string: Error message if connection failed

## Other responses

- `default`: Error response. Depending on the error, either a 4xx or 5xx response status is returned.
