# Configure SMTP server

`PUT /smtp`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2`
- URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2/smtp`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Configure SMTP server. Returns SMTP settings. See get SMTP settings for the response details.

## Request body

- object
  - `enabled` boolean, required: Determines whether SMTP is enabled or not
  - `encryption_method` string: Encryption method. Custom trusted CA certificates can be configured in Advanced settings. Required if SMTP is enabled.
  - `host` string: SMTP server hostname. Required if SMTP is enabled.
  - `port` number: SMTP server port. Required if SMTP is enabled.
  - `anonymous` boolean: Use anonymous SMTP server. Required if SMTP is enabled.
  - `user` string: Username. Required if SMTP is enabled and SMTP server is not anonymous.
  - `password` string: Password. Required if SMTP is enabled and SMTP server is not anonymous.
  - `sender_email` string: Sender e-mail. Required if SMTP is enabled.
