# Get SMTP settings

`GET /smtp`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2`
- URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2/smtp`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Returns SMTP settings

## Response `200`

Successful response

- object
  - `enabled` boolean, required: Determines whether SMTP is enabled or not
  - `encryption_method` string: Encryption method. Custom trusted CA certificates can be configured in Advanced settings. Sent if SMTP is enabled.
  - `host` string: SMTP server hostname. Sent if SMTP is enabled.
  - `port` number: SMTP server port. Sent if SMTP is enabled.
  - `anonymous` boolean: Use anonymous SMTP server. Sent if SMTP is enabled.
  - `user` string: Username. Sent if SMTP is enabled and SMTP server is not anonymous.
  - `sender_email` string: Sender e-mail. Sent if SMTP is enabled.

## Other responses

- `default`: Error response. Depending on the error, either a 4xx or 5xx response status is returned.
