# Configure LDAP settings

`PUT /ldap`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2`
- URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2/ldap`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Configure LDAP settings. Returns LDAP settings. See get LDAP settings for the response details.

## Request body

- object
  - `enabled` boolean, required: Determines whether LDAP is enabled or not
  - `hostname` string: Hostname. Required if LDAP is enabled.
  - `port` number: Port. Required if LDAP is enabled.
  - `username` string: Username. Required if LDAP is enabled.
  - `password` string: Password. Required if LDAP is enabled.
  - `base_dn` string: Base DN. Required if LDAP is enabled.
  - `add_dn` string: Additional user DN. Required if LDAP is enabled. Empty string will be set if not defined.
  - `ssl` boolean: Determines whether SSL is enabled or not. Custom trusted CA certificates can be configured via Advanced settings. Required if LDAP is enabled.
