# Update Agent

`PUT /agents/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2`
- URL: `https://localhost:8446/api/v2/agents/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Update Agent. Only name, tags and WAN optimization can be changed.

## Path parameters

- `id` number, required

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string: Agent name. Use it if you want to rename the Agent
  - `tags` object: Agent tags
  - `tags.name` string, required: Tag name
  - `tags.value` string, required: Tag value
  - `wan_enabled` boolean: Is WAN optimization enabled

## Response `200`

- `default`: Error response. Depending on the error, either a 4xx or 5xx response status is returned.
