# Add API to folder

`POST /v1/folders/{id}/api-links`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:4000`
- URL: `http://localhost:4000/v1/folders/{id}/api-links`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Add an API reference to a folder. The API must exist in the catalog. Duplicate links within the same folder are rejected. Returns the updated folder on success.

  - `link` string, uri, required: API URL reference
  - `apiId` string, uuid: Optional API ID for validation

## Response `200`

API added — updated folder returned

## Other responses

- `400`: link required
- `401`: Access token required
- `404`: Folder or API not found
- `409`: API already in folder
