# Pause your account's metering

`POST /v1/account/pause`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.reqbeat.com`

Pause-instead-of-cancel: suspends metering for the caller's OWN account
-- every billable route 403s with `account_paused` until resumed.

Requires the `account` scope.

## Other responses

- `401`: No API key was sent.
