# Wake replica

`POST /v1/replica/{id}/wake`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.replicas.dev`
- URL: `https://api.replicas.dev/v1/replica/{id}/wake`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Starts waking a sleeping replica and returns `202` immediately. Set `restore=true` to also restore an archived replica. Replicas in `error` are retried. Sending a message wakes or restores a replica too.

Wake accepted

- WakeWorkspaceResponse
  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the wake or restore request was accepted

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Conflict - Resource already exists or operation conflicts with current state
- `500`: Internal server error
