# Create preview

`POST /v1/replica/{id}/previews`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.replicas.dev`
- URL: `https://api.replicas.dev/v1/replica/{id}/previews`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Creates a public URL for a port. Set `authenticated` to require Replicas sign-in. Port 3737 is reserved for the Replicas engine. The replica must be active.

    - `system` 'desktop': Set on previews Replicas creates, like the live desktop stream on port 6080

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - Missing or invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Conflict - Resource already exists or operation conflicts with current state
- `500`: Internal server error
