# Answer agent question

`POST /v1/replica/{id}/chats/{chat_id}/tool-input`

Answers a question or approval the agent is waiting on. Find pending requests in [Read history](/api-reference/replica/read-history): a tool call with `inputRequest.status` of `pending` carries the `request_id` and its option IDs.
