# Create learning

`POST /v1/learned-skills`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.replicas.dev`
- URL: `https://api.replicas.dev/v1/learned-skills`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Adds a learning. Every new workspace loads it.

## Headers

- `X-Replicas-Api-Version` '2026-10-07'

## Request body

- SaveLearnedSkillRequest
  - `content` string, required: SKILL.md with `name` and `description` frontmatter. `description` should start with "Use when".
  - `title` string, required: Short title, like "Always use Conventional Commits"

## Response `201`

Created learning

- LearnedSkill
  - `id` string, uuid, required
  - `name` string, required: Skill name from the SKILL.md frontmatter
  - `title` string, required
  - `description` string, required: When agents should use the skill
  - `content` string, required: Full SKILL.md
  - `created_at` string, date-time, required
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - Missing or invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `500`: Internal server error
