# Accept, reject, or withdraw an application.

`PATCH /api/bounties/{id}/applications/{appId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://rentahuman.ai`

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

For sign-holding and line-waiting shifts, acceptance returns 409 with code "overlapping_shift" if the worker already holds an overlapping accepted shift. Nothing is charged and the application remains pending. Back-to-back shifts are allowed.
