# Cancel a job

`POST /jobs/{id}/cancel`

Cancel a waiting or dispatched job. Running, completed, or already cancelled jobs cannot be cancelled.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required — Job ID to cancel

## Response `200`

Job cancelled

    - `status` 'cancelled', required

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Job not found
- `409` — Job cannot be cancelled in current status
