# Disable a storage destination

`DELETE /storage-destinations/{storageDestinationId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://renderio.dev/api/v1`
- URL: `https://renderio.dev/api/v1/storage-destinations/{storageDestinationId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

Prevents future jobs from using the destination. Objects already in the bucket are not deleted.

## Response `200`

Storage destination disabled

- DeleteStorageDestinationResponse
  - `deleted` boolean, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Plan does not include this capability
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — retry after the `Retry-After` interval
