# Get command status and results

`GET /commands/{commandId}`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `X-API-KEY`

Command state

- Command
  - `command_id` string, uuid, required
  - `status` 'QUEUED' | 'PROCESSING' | 'SUCCESS' | 'FAILED', required
  - `command_type` 'FFMPEG_COMMAND' | 'CHAINED_COMMAND' | 'MULTIPLE_COMMAND' | 'YTDLP_COMMAND', required
  - `total_processing_seconds` number, nullable
  - `ffmpeg_command_run_seconds` number, nullable
  - `metadata` object, nullable
  - `error_status` string, nullable
  - `error_message` string, nullable
  - `output_files` object: Output alias mapped to file metadata. Present once `status` is `SUCCESS`.
  - `original_request` object, required
    - `input_files` InputFiles, required: Input aliases mapped to publicly reachable URLs. Keys must start with `in_`.
    - `output_files` OutputFiles, required: Output aliases mapped to filenames. Keys must start with `out_`.
    - `ffmpeg_command` string
    - `ffmpeg_commands` string[]

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — retry after the `Retry-After` interval
