# contractor_invoice.payment_initiated

`POST contractor_invoice.payment_initiated` (webhook)

This event is triggered when an employer initiates payment on a contractor invoice
for the first time (transition to `pending_payment` from `issued` or `approved`).

The payload is stateless. Use the contractor invoice ID and employment ID to retrieve current details.

## Payload

- object
  - `company_id` string, required: The unique identifier of the related company.
  - `contractor_invoice_id` string, required: The unique identifier of the contractor invoice.
  - `employment_id` string, required: The unique identifier of the related employment.
  - `event_type` string, required: The webhook event type identifier.

## Acknowledgement `2XX`

Any 200 response confirms that the webhook was delivered.
