# Search newsletters

`GET /api/search/publications`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.reletter.com`
- URL: `https://api.reletter.com/api/search/publications`
- Auth: API key in header `x-reletter-api-key`

Search the index by topic, title or author, with filters for language, subscriber count, engagement, platform, publishing model and cadence.

## Query parameters

- `query` string, required
- `mode` 'topics' | 'titles' | 'authors'
- `page` integer
- `per_page` integer
- `filters` string

## Response `200`

Success.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error, or quota exhausted (`code: bundle_exhausted`).
- `401`: API key is missing, unknown or inactive.
- `429`: Burst limit exceeded (`api_rate_limited`).
