# Create a workspace webhook subscription

`POST /workspaces/{workspaceId}/webhooks`

Optional idempotency key. Reuse the same key only for an identical request; successful responses are replayable for 24 hours.

## Path parameters

- `workspaceId` string, required

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string

## Response `201`

Created webhook subscription, including its one-time signing key.

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid url/description/scope/releaseType, or an unsafe webhook target
- `401` — Sign-in required
- `403` — Workspace owner or admin required
- `404` — Workspace, organization, source, or product not found
- `409` — The key is already processing, or was reused with a different request fingerprint.
- `429` — Maximum webhook subscriptions per workspace reached
- `503` — WEBHOOK_HMAC_MASTER not configured, or idempotency storage/response replay is temporarily unavailable
