# Email the submitter that their source was added

`POST /admin/recommendations/{id}/notify-added`

Opt-in operator action. Sends a “your submission was added” email to the recommendation’s contact address, naming the onboarded org/source and linking its live releases.sh URL. Does not run on triage, close, or archive. Idempotent: a second call returns `sent: false, reason: already_notified` and does not email again. CLI: `releases admin recommendations notify-added <rec_id> --org <slug> [--source <slug>]`.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

  - `orgSlug` string, required — Org slug or `org_…` id of the onboarded listing. Required so the email can link a live registry URL.
  - `sourceSlug` string — Optional source slug or `src_…` id under that org. When set, the email links the source page.

## Response `200`

Sent, or already notified (idempotent replay).

## Other responses

- `400` — No contact email, or missing orgSlug
- `404` — Recommendation, organization, or source not found

- `503` — Transactional email is not configured
