# Graduate a lead

`POST /api/v1/clients/{id}/graduate`

## Request

Sets lifecycle to client. Optionally opens a matter and sends a portal invite.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

  - `sendPortalInvite` boolean

## Response `200`

Graduated.

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed request.
- `401`: Missing, malformed, revoked, or unknown API key.
