# Delete Workspace

`DELETE /workspaces/{workspace_id}`

## Request

Permanently delete a workspace and everything scoped to it.

Owner-only, and the personal workspace can never be deleted this way — it's
the account's home base, not a brand workspace someone spun up and can walk
away from. `_get_workspace_or_404` runs first so a bad id 404s before the
confirm-name check, rather than leaking whether the id exists via a 422.
