# Set Default Workspace

`POST /workspaces/{workspace_id}/default`

Set the workspace the switcher opens to on login.

Any member can, not only the owner: this writes the caller's *own*
`User.default_workspace_id` and touches nothing shared, so someone who
spends their day in a team workspace can land straight in it.
