# Create Checkout

`POST /billing/checkout`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.reeldrop.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.reeldrop.io/billing/checkout`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a Stripe Checkout Session for the Creator plan.
`plan_type` picks an entry from stripe_service.PRICING_CATALOG — currently
"month" ($29/mo recurring), "year" ($149/yr recurring, founding deal), or
"lifetime" ($249 one-time, founding deal, permanent access).
Returns the hosted Stripe checkout URL to redirect the user to.
