# Get Metadata

`GET /api/v1/pipelines/sources/{source_name}/metadata`

Returns metadata for the specified schema and tables, for the specified source.

## Path parameters

- `source_name` string, required

## Query parameters

- `schema` string, nullable — Optional schema name
- `tables` string, nullable — Optional comma-separated list of table names to filter by

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- MetadataResponse — Metadata response class.
  - `tables` object, required

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden
- `404` — The specified source is not found in the current pipeline
- `423` — Collector API is not available for the specified source or is disabled
