# Ask for a new API key by email

`POST /v1/workspaces/recover`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.recruitmcp.com`
- URL: `https://api.recruitmcp.com/v1/workspaces/recover`
- Auth: none required

For a lost key. When the address is the exact, confirmed owner address of a workspace, a link is emailed to that address. The link works once, expires in 15 minutes, and asks for a confirmation before it issues a new key. The answer is the same whether or not the address has a workspace. At most 3 emails per address per hour; above that the answer is the same and nothing is sent. At most 10 requests per network per hour.

No authentication.
