# Get a profile photo

`GET /v1/media/{token}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.recruitmcp.com`
- URL: `https://api.recruitmcp.com/v1/media/{token}`
- Auth: none required

Public. The token in a profile photo field expires after 7 days, and each API response signs a new one. It is not tied to a workspace and does not contain the original address. Requests are limited per network. The image is cached on this server and the response is private for one day. Erasure and a confirmed opt-out delete that person's cached photo; every token for them then returns 404.

No authentication.

## Response `200`

The profile photo.

## Other responses

- `400`: `invalid_request` (do not retry): A field is missing or has a value this endpoint does not accept. `unsupported_version` (do not retry): RecruitMCP-Version is not a supported version.
- `404`: `not_found` (do not retry): Photo not found.
- `429`: `rate_limited` (retry): Too many requests from this network. Try again later.
- `502`: `upstream_error` (retry): The photo could not be loaded.
