# Get YARA rule

`GET /yara/{ruleName}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://sandbox.recordedfuture.com/api/v0`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Retrieve a YARA rule's source code, compilation status, and any warnings.

## Path parameters

- `ruleName` string, required

## Response `200`

YARA rule content.

- object
  - `name` string: Rule filename
  - `rule` string: YARA rule source content
  - `warnings` string[]: Compilation warnings (e.g., missing metadata fields like triage_score, description)

## Other responses

- `404`: Rule not found.
