# Target entity types

`GET /metadata/entities`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.recordedfuture.com/links`
- URL: `https://api.recordedfuture.com/links/metadata/entities`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-RFToken`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://id.recordedfuture.com/authorize`
    - Token URL: `https://id.recordedfuture.com/token`

Return a list of available types of target entities,  this can be used to indicate which entity types should be returned for a query.
