# Stat a feed file

`HEAD /files/{path}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.recordedfuture.com/fusion/v3`

  - API key in header `X-RFToken`
  - OAuth 2
    - Authorization code: `https://id.recordedfuture.com/authorize`

Check file metadata (ETag, Last-Modified) without downloading content, enabling efficient polling for changes before a full download.
