# Create Source

`POST /v1/sources`

## Request

Register a new custom intelligence source as a container for publishing threat reports.

## Request body

  - `name` string, required: Name of the source
  - `description` string: Description of the source

## Response `200`

Intelligence source was successfully created

- Source
  - `id` string, uuid, required: Identity of the source
  - `name` string, required: Name of the source
  - `description` string: Description of the source
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: Date and time the source was created
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time, required: Date and time the source was last updated

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input format
