# Create a monitored catalog

`POST /v1/catalogs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.recallsapi.com`
- URL: `https://api.recallsapi.com/v1/catalogs`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string, required
  - `alert_email` string, email
  - `webhook_url` string, uri
  - `min_confidence` 'exact' | 'strong' | 'possible'

## Response `201`

Created; includes webhook_secret for signature checks, and `warnings` (strings) when alert_email is set on a plan without alerts (Free) or while email alerts are off; the address is saved either way

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `402`: Plan limit
- `429`: Daily quota reached
