# Dismiss an early-warning signal that does not apply

`POST /v1/catalogs/{id}/signals/{signalId}/dismiss`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.recallsapi.com`
- URL: `https://api.recallsapi.com/v1/catalogs/{id}/signals/{signalId}/dismiss`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

`signalId` is the catalog signal id (csg_...) from the listing, not the signal's own id. A dismissed signal drops out of the open list and the alerts and is not linked again.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `404`: No open signal with that id on this catalog
- `429`: Daily quota reached
