# Update Link

`POST /links/{link_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rebrandly.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.rebrandly.com/v1/links/{link_id}`
- Auth: API key in header `apikey`

Update link properties.

**Requires:** Authenticated user with workspace access.

**Authorization:**

**Blocked by:**
- Link with status=3 (deleted)
- Revoked workspace
- Revoked domain (if changing domain)
- Link type change (cannot change link types)

  - `title` string: Link title for display

  - `favourite` boolean: Mark as favourite

  - `domainName` string: Full domain name
  - `domain` object: Domain object with details

  - `clicks` integer: Number of clicks on the link
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: Timestamp when link was created
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time, required: Timestamp when link was last updated

  - `description` string: Link description (only if links.notes feature is enabled)

    - `id` string: Workspace public ID
  - `https` boolean: Whether the link supports HTTPS

- `403`: Forbidden - Insufficient permissions
- `404`: Resource not found
