# Create App

`POST /apps`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.rebrandly.com/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `apikey`

Create a new OAuth/mobile app.

**Feature Required:** `links.apps`

- AppInput: Input for creating or updating an app
  - `name` string, required: App display name
  - `namespace` string, required: App namespace/bundle identifier
  - `scheme` string: URL scheme for deep linking
  - `type` 'ios' | 'android', required
  - `installUrl` string, uri: URL to app store listing
  - `path` string: Deep link path template
  - `fallback` object
    - `mode` 'web' | 'prompt'
    - `destination` string, uri

App created

- App: Mobile app for deep linking
  - `id` string, required: App public ID
  - `namespace` string: App namespace/bundle identifier
  - `name` string, required: App display name
  - `scheme` string: URL scheme for deep linking
  - `type` 'ios' | 'android', required: Mobile platform type
  - `installUrl` string, uri: URL to app store listing
  - `path` string: Deep link path template
  - `fallback` object: Fallback behavior when app is not installed
    - `mode` 'web' | 'prompt': How to handle users without the app
    - `destination` string, uri: Fallback destination URL
  - `active` boolean: Whether the app is active
  - `deleted` boolean: Whether the app is marked as deleted
  - `deleting` boolean: Whether the app is being deleted
  - `createdAt` string, date-time
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time
